Emma Rinaldo

Registered Social Worker, Mom of 2, East Coast lover & Calzone Crusher

Emma is a Registered Social Worker, mom of two, and former primary school teacher, with a
wealth of experience in clinical settings. Having worked at both SickKids Hospital and Women’s College Hospital, Emma’s clinical experience led her to her current work at Bria, a women’s focused mental health provider, and within her own private practice. Emma focuses on individuals and couples navigating acute and chronic health challenges. In addition, she also specializes in supporting clients across the reproductive life stages, including fertility struggles, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause.

As a mom of two children conceived through IVF, Emma intimately understands the challenges of the postpartum journey—sleepless nights, soothing a fussy baby, adjusting to the physical and emotional changes, and the strain it can place on relationships. Emma recognizes the mental load of caring for a newborn and how it often feels overwhelming, with moments of doubt and fear both intertwined with the joy of parenthood.

Emma takes a proactive approach to supporting her clients. By intervening early Emma works with you to develop a plan to navigate the postpartum period in the healthiest way possible, helping to reduce the risk of parental burnout. Through this process, parents build skills to increase their resilience, acknowledge their strengths, and develop a clear sense of parental values, especially for those tough moments when self-doubt creeps in. Emma is excited to support and work with families through this stage of their parenting with confidence and care.

Here from our happy families

  • I cannot thank Andria and Jaye enough for helping me sleep train my son. Andria was always reassuring and quick to respond. She was so good that I had separation anxiety once we were finished... I also could count on Jaye to listen to whatever nonsensical stuff I said when I was sleep-deprived and make me feel understood. I kept asking my husband if I would ever sleep again. I didn't think it was possible! And yet, both Andria and Jaye made the impossible possible! Thank you again :)”

  • “We worked with Karen and Sarah to sleep train our 2.5 year old daughter. We were anxious and nervous about sleep training her since she was a toddler and thought it was too late. Both Karen and Sarah were there to talk us through our feelings and guided us throughout the entire process. They were supportive and understanding of where we were, and provided the right guidance and resources for us. And the result? Our daughter now sleeps through the night! We are so grateful that we got to work with them; it truly changed our life for the better.”

  • We had the pleasure of working with Karen and Jaye. Our baby used to sleep through the night, but at about 4.5 months he began waking up anywhere from 2 to 4 times a night and needed to be rocked or nursed back to sleep. By 7 months we were exhausted. By night 2 of the program we were down to 1 wake up, by night 4 there were no wake ups at all. As a bonus to this wonderful newly found night sleep we also started seeing longer daytime naps. Karen was easy to reach when we had any questions, she checked in with us daily, and she was helpful when we found ourselves with a sick baby part way through the process. Jaye was so kind and reassuring, and really helped talk through some of the feelings I really didn't realize I would have going through this process. There were some big ones. All in all I would highly recommend this service to anyone who is struggling with getting baby to sleep. It was a total game changer for us.”
