Sleep Support That Looks Beyond Sleep
When your child isn't sleeping, it rarely affects just the nights.
Sleep deprivation can impact your confidence, your relationships, your mental health, your ability to enjoy parenting, and your family's overall wellbeing.
That's why many families are looking for more than traditional sleep consulting.
At Have Baby. Must Sleep., many of our sleep consultants are also Registered Social Workers (RSWs). They combine evidence-informed pediatric sleep support with the clinical training to understand the emotional and family dynamics that often influence sleep success.
For many families, this also means their extended health benefits may cover some or all of their sleep support.
What Is a Registered Social Worker?
A Registered Social Worker (RSW) is a regulated healthcare professional who has completed specialized education, clinical training, and registration requirements through the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
In addition to their expertise in pediatric sleep, our Registered Social Workers are trained to support the emotional wellbeing of parents and caregivers, helping families navigate challenges that often accompany sleep deprivation.
Their role extends beyond creating a sleep plan. They understand the bigger picture and provide compassionate, evidence-informed support throughout your journey.
How Is Registered Social Worker Sleep Support Different?
Traditional sleep consulting focuses primarily on your child's sleep habits and routines.
Our Registered Social Worker Sleep Support considers the whole family.
Your child's sleep is influenced by many factors, including:
Parental mental health
Anxiety around sleep
Postpartum adjustment
Family stress
Parenting confidence
Feeding challenges
Child temperament
Family routines
Rather than viewing these as separate issues, we recognize how closely they are connected and provide support that reflects your family's unique situation.
